Visit the Doctor

This may not be easy or creative, but if you are serious about weight loss and have a significant amount to lose – use your health insurance and go in for a check-up. It’ll be worth the $25 co-pay to make sure you don’t have any other problems that could interfere with weight loss. Losing weight should be about getting healthy, and having a doctor’s support will help the journey.

Drink Green Tea

Flex and Hold

Instead of casually sitting while watching television, movies, or playing video games – pedal. The more you move, the more you lose. Even if you pedal slowly, you’ll be burning more calories than if you were sitting in your recliner.

Skip and Race Like a Kid

Instead of walking into the store, skip like a kid, or race. If you aren’t physically able to skip or run, at least park as far away as possible and walk quickly. If you are capable of skipping, try it. Don’t be afraid to look foolish. Skipping and racing friends is fun. That’s why children do it all the time. Losing weight is easier when you connect to your childhood and move more.
